Well worth a visit. This ancient art is as close to slave labour as you can get. To see it alive and working in the 21st century is nevertheless astounding. The stench is overpowering so take a mask. Beware that our tour guide warned us that most of the skins are camel and not cow leather , which is another reason for the smell of the bags you buy.

Totally authentic. Wasn’t sure whether to include on recent trip but so glad i did. Preferred to marrakesh. If you don’t like exploring new cultures stay at home.

Part of our tour , we visited the Fez Medina . All I can say is have extremely confortable shoes , because you are going to walk lots and there is a lot of steps! It’s a real maze, you can easily get lost. Our guide tour had 2 other friends looking out for us so nobody gets lost.
